By creating an account or using American AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. These terms apply to all users, whether you are on a free or paid plan.

American AI is an artificial intelligence assistant designed to help Americans with everyday tasks including writing emails, understanding documents, answering questions, comparing products, and more. The service is provided through our website and is accessible from any web browser.

American AI provides general assistance and information. It is not a substitute for professional advice from licensed attorneys, doctors, financial advisors, or other qualified professionals. Always consult a qualified professional for important medical, legal, or financial decisions.

To use American AI, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your account password.
• Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We recommend using a strong, unique password.

American AI offers the following plans:

• Free Plan: 5 conversations per day at no cost. No credit card required.
• Standard Plan: $14.95/month (or $149.50/year) with unlimited conversations and standard features.
• Plus Plan: $24.95/month (or $249.50/year) with voice input and advanced features.
• Premium Plan: $39.95/month (or $399.50/year) with voice responses, personal memory, and all features.

Prices are in US dollars and may be subject to applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice to existing subscribers.

Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. During the trial, you have full access to your selected plan's features. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will be charged at the plan's regular rate.

You may only use one free trial per account. We reserve the right to limit or revoke free trial access in cases of abuse.

• Monthly subscriptions are billed on the same date each month.
• Annual subscriptions are billed once per year on the anniversary of your signup date.
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.
• If a payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method up to 3 times over 7 days before suspending your account.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel:

• You will continue to have access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period.
• Your account will automatically convert to the Free plan at the end of your billing period.
• There are no cancellation fees or penalties.
• You can resubscribe at any time.

All paid plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with American AI within the first 30 days of your paid subscription, contact us at support@askamericanai.com for a full refund. This guarantee applies to your first subscription payment only.

When using American AI, you agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to promote illegal activities.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the service (except through our official API, if offered).
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Use the service to generate harmful, abusive, or deceptive content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate our AI systems.

The American AI service, including its design, features, content, and code, is the property of American AI and is protected by US copyright and trademark laws.

Content you create using American AI (such as emails, letters, and documents) belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of any content you generate through the service.

American AI is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do our best to provide accurate and helpful information, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI responses.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, American AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of American AI shall be resolved in the federal or state courts located in the United States.
